How to Schedule One Post to YouTube, Instagram and TikTok at Once

Use Publer's multi-account composer to queue a single video to all three platforms with one scheduled time.

8 minBeginner

The whole point of a scheduler is to write a post once and let it fan out to every platform. In Publer the multi-account composer does exactly this: pick your accounts, drop in the video and caption, choose a time, and Publer handles each platform's quirks. This guide covers a single short video going to YouTube as a Short, plus Instagram Reels and a TikTok post.

What you need

  • YouTube, Instagram and TikTok already connected in Publer
  • A vertical video file (9:16) under each platform's size limit
  • A caption and a few hashtags ready to paste

Step 1: Open the composer and select all three

Click Create in the top bar. At the top of the composer is a row of account avatars. Click each of the three so all are highlighted. Publer now shows a small per-platform preview tab for each selected account.

---------------------------------------------------
[ Drag video here or click to upload ]
Caption: New tutorial is live. #buildinpublic #ai
Tabs: [ Common ] [ YouTube ] [ Instagram ] [ TikTok ]
Selected avatars are highlighted; preview tabs appear per platform.

Step 2: Upload the video and write the caption

Drag your vertical video into the upload zone. Type your caption in the Common tab so it applies to all platforms at once. If one platform needs a different caption, open that platform's tab and edit it there; the override only affects that single account.

Step 3: Fix per-platform required fields

Open the YouTube tab and set a video title, because YouTube requires one even for Shorts. Open the TikTok tab and confirm the privacy setting and whether comments are allowed. Instagram usually needs no extra fields for a Reel, but you can add a cover frame here.

Step 4: Schedule the time

At the bottom, click the schedule control and choose Schedule instead of Publish now. Pick a date and time. Publer respects your workspace time zone, which you can verify in Settings if a post ever lands an hour off.

Title length
YouTube titles cap at 100 characters and TikTok captions are shorter than Instagram. If the composer shows a red counter on one tab, trim that platform's text before scheduling or the post will fail for that account only.

Result

After you confirm, Publer creates three queued posts that share one source video but carry each platform's correct fields. They appear in your calendar at the chosen time, and you get a single notification when all three publish.
