How to Recycle Evergreen Posts Automatically in Publer
Set up Recycling so your best evergreen videos and tips republish on a loop without manual rescheduling.
Some content stays useful long after its first post: a tutorial, a tip, an offer. Publer's Recycling feature republishes those posts on a repeating schedule so they keep working for you. This guide shows how to mark a post as recurring and control how often it comes back around.
What you need
- A Publer plan that includes Recycling
- At least one evergreen post worth repeating
- A posting schedule with a few open slots for the recycled content to use
Step 1: Create the post as recurring
Compose the post as usual, then at the schedule step choose Recycle (sometimes labeled Recurring). This tells Publer not to delete the post after it publishes but to send it back into the queue.
Step 2: Set the interval and count
Choose how often the post repeats, such as every 14 days, and how many total times it should run. A wide interval keeps an evergreen tip from feeling spammy. You can also set an expiry date so it stops on its own.
Step 3: Vary the captions to avoid duplicates
Open the post's Variations option and add two or three alternate captions. Each time the post recycles, Publer rotates through them, which keeps platforms from flagging the exact same text as a repeat and keeps your feed feeling fresh.
Step 4: Watch it in the recycle view
Open Posts and filter to Recycling. Each recurring post shows its next run date and how many runs remain. From here you can pause a loop, edit the interval, or end it early.
Result
Your best evergreen content now republishes on its own schedule with rotating captions, filling slow days in your calendar and squeezing more reach out of work you already did.
