Use when a customer hits cancel and you want a staged set of retention offers instead of a single discount.

Design a 4-rung offer ladder, escalating only if the prior rung is declined:
- Rung 1: non-discount value move (feature, coaching, pause).
- Rung 2: low-cost concession.
- Rung 3: meaningful discount or downgrade.
- Rung 4: graceful goodbye that keeps the door open.

For each rung give: the offer, the one-line pitch to the customer, and the signal that means stop and let them go. End with a rule for when NOT to fight the cancel at all.
