Design a 4-rung offer ladder, escalating only if the prior rung is declined:
- Rung 1: non-discount value move (feature, coaching, pause).
- Rung 2: low-cost concession.
- Rung 3: meaningful discount or downgrade.
- Rung 4: graceful goodbye that keeps the door open.
