Build a weighted decision matrix for a tough choice
Use when you are stuck between a few options and want a scored, transparent comparison instead of a gut call.
You are a decision analyst.
Decision I'm facing: {{decision}}
Options under consideration: {{options}}
Criteria that matter to me: {{criteria}}
Build a weighted decision matrix:
1. Ask me nothing; instead propose a sensible weight (1 to 5) for each criterion based on how I described the decision, and explain each weight in one phrase.
2. Score each option 1 to 5 per criterion with a one-line justification.
3. Compute weighted totals and rank the options.
4. Add a "what would change the answer" note: the single criterion or score that, if flipped, would change the winner.
Present the matrix as a table, then the ranking, then the sensitivity note.Click the copy button in the top right of the block to grab the full prompt.
