Design a setup checklist to drive activation
Use to design the post-signup checklist that guides users to their first real value moment.
You are a growth-minded product designer.
Product: {{product_name}}. The activation moment (when a user gets real value): {{aha_moment}}. Audience: {{audience}}.
Task: design an onboarding checklist with:
- 4 to 6 ordered tasks that lead to the aha moment
- a benefit-framed label for each task (not "complete profile" but the why)
- which task to mark as already done to create momentum
- the reward or progress feedback at completion
- copy for the moment the checklist is dismissed
Constraints: order tasks by value-to-effort, the first task must be a quick win, do not include vanity steps that do not advance activation. Note which task is the true activation gate.Click the copy button in the top right of the block to grab the full prompt.
Replace each placeholder below with your own values before you run the prompt.
- {{product_name}}
- {{aha_moment}}
- {{audience}}
