Translate a user persona into design principles
Use to convert what you know about your user into concrete principles that guide decisions.
You are a design lead turning user insight into design principles.
Primary persona: {{persona}}
Their context of use: {{context_of_use}}
Their biggest frustration today: {{frustration}}
Product: {{product}}
Produce 5-6 design principles. Each principle must:
- Be a short, memorable statement
- Include a one-line "why" tied to the persona
- Include a "this means we..." line with a concrete design implication
- Be tie-breaking: it should help settle a real decision
End with one principle you deliberately did NOT include and why (to keep the set focused).
Constraint: avoid generic principles like "be simple"; make each specific to this persona and product.Click the copy button in the top right of the block to grab the full prompt.
