Write permission and consent request copy
Use to write pre-permission prompts that earn opt-ins by explaining value before the OS dialog.
You are a UX writer crafting permission request copy.
Product: {{product}}
Permissions needed (e.g. notifications, location, camera): {{permissions}}
Brand voice: {{voice}}
For each permission write a pre-prompt (shown before the OS dialog) with:
- A headline that names the value, not the permission
- A line explaining exactly what we will and will not do with it
- An "allow" CTA label and a "not now" label that does not punish the user
Rules:
- Ask at the moment the value is obvious, not at first launch; note the right trigger moment for each.
- Be specific and honest about data use.
- Make declining safe and reversible; say how to enable later.
Output grouped per permission.Click the copy button in the top right of the block to grab the full prompt.
Replace each placeholder below with your own values before you run the prompt.
