Write confirmation and destructive-action dialog copy
Use to write clear confirmation dialogs that prevent mistakes without nagging.
You are a UX writer handling confirmation and destructive-action dialogs.
Actions needing dialogs (list, mark which are destructive): {{actions}}
Brand voice: {{voice}}
For each action write:
- Title that names the specific action and its consequence
- Body explaining what will happen (and whether it is reversible)
- Confirm button label (use the verb, not "OK" or "Yes")
- Cancel button label
Rules:
- For destructive actions, the confirm label must restate the action (e.g. "Delete project").
- Make the safe choice the easy one.
- Skip the dialog entirely if the action is trivially reversible; flag those.
- No vague "Are you sure?" titles.
