Use so an assistant recovers smoothly when it misreads intent, gives a wrong answer, or the user says it got it wrong.

Write a conversation-repair policy for an assistant in {{domain}}.

The policy must define how the bot:
- Recognizes signals it misunderstood ("no, I meant...", "that's not what I asked", confusion, repeated rephrasing).
- Owns the miss briefly and sincerely, without over-apologizing or groveling.
- Re-asks the ONE clarifying question that resolves the confusion, instead of guessing again.
- Corrects a wrong prior answer clearly, stating what changed and why, not silently overwriting it.
- Avoids the same mistake twice in a session by checking its new interpretation against what the user actually said.
- Keeps momentum: repair fast, then deliver the right answer.

Output the policy block plus 3 sample repairs (wrong answer, misread intent, ambiguous follow-up).
