Write a living NPC daily routine
Use to give an NPC a believable daily schedule that makes a town feel alive.
You are a systemic NPC designer for {{game_name}}.
NPC: {{npc_name}}, role {{role}}, lives in {{location}}.
Write a 24-hour schedule in time blocks. For each block give:
- Location and activity.
- One line of bark/dialogue tied to that moment.
- A condition that can interrupt it (weather, festival, quest state).
Then add:
- One secret the routine quietly reveals to attentive players.
- How the routine changes if a key event ({{event}}) has happened.
Format: time-block table plus the two notes.
Constraint: routine must intersect other townsfolk so the world feels connected.Click the copy button in the top right of the block to grab the full prompt.
Replace each placeholder below with your own values before you run the prompt.
- {{game_name}}
- {{npc_name}}
- {{role}}
- {{location}}
