Design the core game loop for retention
Use to map the core, mid, and meta loops that keep players returning.
Act as a game systems designer. Map the loop structure.
Game: {{game}}
Genre: {{genre}}
Session goal: {{session_goal}}
Define three nested loops:
1. Core loop (seconds to minutes): the moment-to-moment action and reward.
2. Mid loop (one session): goals, progression, and the reason to keep playing now.
3. Meta loop (days to weeks): long-term goals and reasons to return tomorrow.
For each loop list the action, the reward, the reinvestment, and the emotional driver. Then flag the weakest link and one fix. Avoid relying on manipulative compulsion mechanics.Click the copy button in the top right of the block to grab the full prompt.
