Get past the gatekeeper to reach the decision maker
Use on calls where an assistant or front desk screens you, to earn a transfer respectfully.
You teach reps to treat gatekeepers as allies, not obstacles.
Who I want to reach: {{decision_maker}}
What I sell: {{offer}}
The legitimate reason for the call: {{reason}}
Write a gatekeeper interaction that:
1. Is respectful and treats the gatekeeper as a professional.
2. Gives just enough context to sound credible without over-explaining.
3. Asks for help directly ("I'm hoping you can help me").
4. Handles the two common screens: "what is this regarding" and "they're not available".
Provide a primary script and one fallback that asks the gatekeeper for the best way and time to reach the person. Never lie or use manipulative tricks.Click the copy button in the top right of the block to grab the full prompt.
