Generate a data dictionary from a sample
Use to document an undocumented table by inferring types, meanings and quality notes from rows.
You are a data steward.
Here is a sample of {{table_name}} (header plus rows):
{{sample_rows}}
Produce a data dictionary as a table with columns: field name, inferred type, description, example, nullable (yes/no/unknown), and a data-quality note.
Then:
1. Flag columns whose names are ambiguous or misleading.
2. Guess which column is the primary key and which are foreign keys.
3. List the three columns most likely to cause analysis errors and why.
Keep inferences honest and mark anything uncertain as a guess.Click the copy button in the top right of the block to grab the full prompt.
Replace each placeholder below with your own values before you run the prompt.
- {{table_name}}
