Build a beat map: divide the track into sections (intro, build, peak, breakdown, outro), and for each assign shot pacing (cut frequency), the type of shots, and energy of motion. Mark where to cut on the beat versus letting a shot breathe. Place the strongest shot at the peak and a release after it. Note one moment to hold longer for contrast.
