Detect bias and spin in an article
Use to spot loaded framing, omissions, and slant in a piece of writing.
Analyze the article below for bias and spin.
Identify:
1. The author's apparent stance and any stake they may have.
2. Loaded words, framing, or emotional language that nudge the reader.
3. What is emphasized versus downplayed or left out.
4. Claims presented as fact that are actually opinion or contested.
5. Whether opposing views are represented fairly or strawmanned.
Then give:
- A balanced restatement of the core factual content with the spin removed.
- A fairness rating (low, moderate, high) with a one-line reason.
Be even-handed. Note your own analysis is interpretation, not certainty.
